Meet the Doc
Dr. Kelsey Lloyd was born, raised and lives in Minnesota. She was a dedicated gymnast from toddlerhood to college. With that came a lot of injuries, strains, sprains and even ER visits. Dr. Lloyd's chiropractor was the only avenue of true help and relief. She was intrigued by the idea of finding the root cause instead of just putting a band-aid on the issue and treating the symptoms. Dr. Lloyd committed herself to becoming a chiropractor in junior high and never considered any other profession.
She went to undergraduate school at University of Minnesota Duluth, followed by graduate school at Northwestern Health Sciences University where she obtained her degrees of Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelors in Biology. She has had additional training in the areas of perinatal, pediatrics and nutrition. She is Webster certified, RockTape certified and an ICPA candidate. Dr. Lloyd has been practicing with a diverse population in Minneapolis, MN. She's always had a strong emphasis on family care and the "chiropractic lifestyle". She is also certified with NWHSU through their CBI program, mentoring interns in the clinic to better prepare them as they finish their chiropractic schooling. Dr. Lloyd's own experiences including delivering her first born in a hospital followed by a homebirth for her second, has empowered her to guide women and families to be an advocate for their own healthcare. She's passionate about walking alongside her patients throughout their wellness journey. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Lloyd has now decided to open up her own practice, Rooted In Wellness Chiropractic.

Dr. Lloyd has also founded Impactful Adjustments, a nonprofit that provides wellness in underserved communities throughout the world. She enjoys spending time with her family, their white lab and their chickens. She's a devoted Christian, adventure-seeker, loves spending time outdoors and traveling. Along with her love of health, she's also a fitness enthusiast. She continues to coach gymnastics to be alongside her daughter as she pursues her gymnastics journey.
